Our paper “Comparing the Performance of Radiation Oncologists versus a Deep Learning Dose Predictor” has been accepted for oral presentation at the Medical Imaging with Deep Learning (MIDL) 2024 conference. With an acceptance rate of just 18% (36 out of 217 submissions), this represents a significant recognition of the quality and impact of our research.

The study provides critical validation of AI-based dose prediction methods by directly comparing their performance against expert radiation oncologists. These findings inform ContourAId’s development of real-time quality control features, ensuring our AI-assisted tools meet the high standards required for clinical deployment.

MIDL is one of the premier conferences for deep learning applications in medical imaging, and this acceptance demonstrates ContourAId’s contributions to advancing the state-of-the-art in AI-driven radiotherapy planning.
